3 accused of removing $13K in makeup from Cranberry Township store

Three women have been accused of taking more than $13,000 in makeup products from Ulta Beauty in one trip, according to charges filed by Cranberry Township police.

Natasha N. Santiago, 27, of Newark, N.J., Francis M. Soto, 34, of Bloomfield, N.J., and Keniesha E. Guzman, 33, of Reading, were charged with felonies conspiracy and theft after the alleged theft Feb. 3.

Police reports indicated the three women and others who were not charged in connection to the incident were involved in 23 thefts at Ulta between September 2023 and February this year, totaling a loss of $80,693 for the company. The other individuals or incidents were not detailed in court documents.

Charging documents filed April 5 indicate Santiago, Soto and Guzman entered the store around 5:30 p.m. Feb. 3. Each carried a large, empty tote bag and picked up shopping baskets, police said.

The women were seen placing items into the baskets, then moving to another aisle to transfer them into the tote bags they were carrying, documents show.

Surveillance footage shows the women removing all the items from a Dior display in the store, according to police.

Guzman was seen exiting the store with a full tote bag and reentering a minute later with the same tote bag appearing empty, police said.

The three women exited the store together just after 6 p.m., police said, with Soto and Santiago holding tote bags which appeared full.

Police said Guzman, Soto and Santiago removed $13,203 worth of merchandise from Ulta Beauty without paying for it.

Preliminary hearings have not yet been scheduled.
