Kayden Cahall went 2-for-3 from the bottom half of the order, scored twice, doubled and stole a base in Seneca Valley baseball’s 10-3 win Friday over Avonworth.
Danny Drennan (2-for-4) and Mason Fisher (0-for-2), and Owen Voelp (1-for-1) also scored twice, and Micah Olayer (2-for-2) and Voelp drove in two runs each.
Eden Christian 5, North Catholic 0 — The Trojans could not muster up enough offense with just two hits, despite a complete-game, five-strikeout performance by Peyton Varley.
Union/A-C Valley splits doubleheader — The Falcon Knights lost 7-3 then came back to win the second game 15-5 over Franklin on Friday.
Lauren Langdon and Rylynn Hoffman each had a hit and run scored in the loss, with Hoffman adding an RBI.
In the second game, a three-inning blowout, Ella Eiler (2-for-2) homered, doubled, stole a base and finished with three RBIs and two runs scored. She also struck out four in the circle. And Makaylyn Pennington (3-for-3) doubled twice, stole three bases, drove in seven runs and scored three times.
