Butler will host WPIAL Track and Field Team Championships boys and girls semifinals at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 28.

The Golden Tornado earned hosting duties after going 6-0 in WPIAL Section 3-3A play. Knoch, Mt. Lebanon and New Castle will visit for a chance at the final, which will be held May 5 at West Mifflin High School. Butler’s girls will host Knoch, Blackhawk, Mt. Lebanon and New Castle.

Seneca Valley boys is competing in another semifinal bracket against Kiski and Plum.

North Catholic’s girls and boys also qualified in Class 2A. They will play in a semifinal 3 p.m. Tuesday at Shenango High School. The 2A final is May 5 at Peters Township Middle School.
