Popkins Magical Popcorn opens in Harmony
Popcorn lovers can now see their favorite treat made right before their eyes when they visit Popkins Magical Popcorn, 550 Main St. in Harmony, which opened on Saturday, April 13.
The popcorn shop is a new addition by owners Sam and Julie Hopkins of Neff Haus Ice Cream, which is located on the same property.
“We have built both attractions to be experiences, much like Disney World restaurants are a combination of food and experiences,” Sam said. “If you like popcorn, Popkins is the place to be. My wife and I are very excited to bring these creations to life for everyone.”
Customers are able to choose their favorite popcorn flavor, which can then be combined with melted milk, dark or white chocolate.
Lastly they can pick from a variety of topping options such as chopped buckeye cookies, M&M’s, pretzels, Oreos, gummy bears and more.
The business also offers bagged freshly made butter and caramel popcorn.
Its hours are 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
