CRANBERRY TWP — Trick or treat came to the township municipal center early once again, giving some Halloween fun to young costumed crusaders.

Cranberry Township hosted its annual Great Pumpkin Festival Friday evening, Oct. 23, where costumes were encouraged for all to get into the spooky spirit. The event was aimed at children ages 1 to 8 years old, but parents and people of all ages could be found prowling the Cranberry Township Municipal Center where all the action took place.

New this year was a Halloween movie on the lawn. The 2019 film “The Addams Family” played for attendees.

The event also featured a pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, games, crafts, snacks, a photo booth and interactive booths. There was also a self-guided story walk around the Armstrong Great Lawn, following “Here a Creak, There a Shriek!” by Kelly Conroy.
