Man charged with stalking in Adams Township

A Pittsburgh man is charged with stalking a girl near Mars Area Middle School, according to charges filed Saturday, Oct. 10, by Adams Township police.

Brady Michael Ellis, 20, was charged with misdemeanor stalking following a report Saturday of him being spotted driving near the middle school. Police said Ellis had traveled from Pittsburgh to see the girl, who was working in the area, and he had been causing ongoing issues during the previous week.

Earlier on Saturday, Ellis had been in the area and found the girl. He created a disturbance when confronting her, then bystanders became involved and threatened to call 911. Ellis then fled the scene.

Police said when they spoke with Ellis in the middle school parking lot that night, he said he was there to see the girl.

Police said Ellis had also threatened the girl and her family multiple times. Attempts by the girl to cease communication had been unsuccessful.

Ellis’ preliminary hearing scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 4 before District Judge Amy Marcinkiewicz.
