ADAMS TWP — Supervisors gave final land development approval for the retail portion of the Quincy Heights combined residential/retail planned development during its meeting Monday night, Sept. 28.

Plans for the retail portion of Quincy Heights call for two separate retail buildings along Route 22. According to John Kamin, legal counsel for the Glincher Group, the complex is still looking for retail tenants.

The Glincher Group is managing the retail and commercial portion of the complex.

“We think that it's going to be a really good spot and we think we'll do very well,” Kamin said. “We are going to do our best to get the word out there.”

The combined Quincy Heights complex is located on a parcel about 30 acres in area along Route 228 near the border with Cranberry Township and Seven Fields.

The residential portion of the complex is planned to feature apartments and single-family homes. The apartment complex, known as Quincy Lofts and managed by Continental Building Company, will consist of three separate buildings located between Route 228 and Crider Road. The complex is nearing completion and has begun leasing.

The housing development, managed by Laurel Communities, will consist of 90 townhomes and 20 patio homes. That portion of the complex was given final approval by Adams Township supervisors in 2023.

Initial plans also called for the Quincy Heights complex to include senior living facilities, but those were later removed.
