NFL Draft 2026: places to watch in Butler County

The NFL draft will not only draw hundreds of thousands of fans to Pittsburgh’s North Shore and Downtown on April 23 through 25 — it will be seen everywhere. About 7.5 million viewers watched it in 2025.

As of now, there is still much uncertainty over which way the Steelers will lean. Who will they pick? What positions do they want to add to? Will they trade up?

With draft coverage airing on ESPN, ABC and NFL Network, you can bet local restaurants and bars will be in business Thursday through Saturday showing the draft. For those with little desire to enter a sea of 500,000-700,000 people, there are various establishments residents can count on to celebrate the draft as we find out the future of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Rather than catch a glimpse of a stage in the distance, fans can watch on big screen televisions while good deals on food and drinks are nearby.

The Beacon Hotel, Forward Township

It’s going to be a party at the Beacon over the weekend. Visitors can expect the patio to be open, with a big-screen projector showing the draft Thursday through Saturday.

Deb Krelow, owner of the Beacon, said the party will start about an hour before the Thursday and Friday rounds.

“We love the draft, we love putting it on,” Krelow said. “We try to make anything a good time, and it should be fun. It’s exciting, and its huge for the region. We’re looking forward to it.”

Deals include $3, 20-ounce Miller Lite on draft. In addition to its famous wings, the Beacon is also bringing back some summer menu food items, like pizzas and gyros.

The Monroe Hotel, Butler

Butler residents who don’t want to travel far can enjoy their Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday afternoon at the Monroe Hotel.

The Monroe’s barroom includes expansive seating and televisions to take in the moment with food and drink, including nearly 20 different beers on tap.

North Country Brewing Co., Slippery Rock

Up north, the Main Street establishment is expecting a crowd to join in and watch this year’s draft.

“We will have the TVs on, anyone who does want to watch it, they’ll be able to watch it and have a Northern Light while waiting for the picks to come in,” Terrilynn Halblieb, director of operations, said. “The staff is excited because all the guys have their guesses on who will get picked.”

Guests can enjoy $3.50 Northern Light drafts while munching on all sorts of burgers, apps and more.

Cenci’s, Cranberry Township

Cenci’s has become a popular spot to watch the NFL draft in recent years. This year, the pizzeria and bar doesn’t expect it will be any different.

Employees told the Butler Eagle that while it is still planning deals, it is expecting a big crowd again.

The dine-in and bar is open until 2 a.m. every day, which is helpful for customers with the Steelers not expected to draft until the 20th overall pick, which could be over two hours after the start time.

Rock-A-Fellas Sports Grille, Buffalo Township

For those southeast of Butler, the sports grill is a good location to enjoy drinks and food for this year’s draft.

Food includes pizza, house tacos and specialty fries, with lagers, ales an IPAs bottled and on draft.

The Beer Garden Sports Bar & Grille, Petrolia

Located on Oneida Valley Road, The Beer Garden Sports Bar & Grille gives residents a chance to enjoy a cold beer and good food. The bar stays open until 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
