Students at Mars Primary Center recently received a pleasant surprise when they came out for recess to find lines for new games painted on their school’s playground.

The playground upgrade comes courtesy of Girl Scout Troop 28850, who painted the lines on the school playground as part of a community service project, for which they received a Bronze Award. The students involved were fifth-graders Elise Balazs, Grace Carnicelli, Jill Julian, Nina Szudera and Katie Wyman, along with second-grader Margot Wyman and first-grader Ava Julian.
