West Virginia University Health System has achieved Level 9 in the Acute and Ambulatory categories for the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives’ 2026 Digital Health Most Wired survey.

The program honors excellence in digitally enabled healthcare. WVU Medicine was among more than 44,000 facilities represented in this year’s survey.

The survey evaluates the adoption, maturity, outcomes and value of technology across healthcare organizations at every stage of their digital journey, from early phase digitization to advanced transformation.

WVU Medicine’s 2026 Most Wired survey was completed prior to its acquisition of Independence Health System, and included data representing 25 member hospitals.
