Mars students awarded in Saxonburg Fine Art show

Several Mars Area High School students were recognized at the 2026 Saxonburg Fine Art Show.
Juried art show winners include senior Anya Ignatuk, who received second place for her piece, “This Little Light of Mine.”
Honorable mentions were awarded to senior Anya Ignatuk for “Memento Mori,” senior Caroline Manning for “Different” and “Reused,” sophomore Rhythm Srivastava for “Mitski” and freshman Aubrey Hunt for “Mourning Dove.”
In the Photography category, senior Caroline Manning took second place for “Spring into Summer” and received an honorable mention for “Tree.”
