Ohio man charged with theft from gym locker in Cranberry Township
An Ohio man is accused of stealing credit and debit cards from a locker in Planet Fitness in Cranberry Township.
Anthony Christian, 45, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, was charged Tuesday, March 24, by Cranberry Township police with one felony count each of access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property following an incident Feb. 2.
Police said while a man was exercising, Christian broke into the man’s locker and stole his Sam’s Club credit card and PNC Bank debit card. The credit card was then used to purchase two gift cards, and the debit card was used to purchase four gift cards for a combined total of $3,000, police said.
Police identified Christian using traffic cameras and said he has a history of similar offenses.
Christian’s preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
