Chipotle on track for Adams Township
ADAMS TWP — The board of supervisors approved a land development plan for a Chipotle restaurant during their meeting on Monday night, March 23.
The restaurant would be located along Route 228 as part of the Adams Corners shopping center. The center currently includes a GetGo, Sheetz, Aldi and McDonald’s. A Chick-fil-A is also planned to open by November.
According to plans shared on the property developer’s website, the Chipotle would take up 2,385 square feet of the planned 7,951-square-foot building, leaving another 5,556 square feet of retail space available to rent.
The location would incorporate a drive-through mobile pickup lane — also known as a “Chipotlane” — that would allow customers to make an order through the chain’s mobile app and pick it up. The Chipotle location at Benevan Square in Butler also has one.
