Man’s death in Adams Township called a homicide, medical examiner says

The March 2025 death of a Coraopolis man in Adams Township was found to be a homicide by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.

Donald P. Miller, 59, died March 12 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital from complications of manual strangulation, according to the medical examiner. He was taken there March 6 following an incident at 11:33 a.m. in the 200 block of Broadstone Drive.

District Attorney Richard Goldinger said Thursday morning that Adams Township police are still investigating the incident to determine if it was a homicide. He said he was a meeting with an officer from the department next week to discuss the incident.

Goldinger said he will know after the department completes its investigation whether or not charges will be filed.
