Vogel to hold September food drive for Hunger Action Month

Sen. Elder Vogel Jr., R-47th, will host a monthlong food drive in September to mark Hunger Action Month.
Unexpired, nonperishable food donations will be accepted Sept. 1 through 30 at Vogel’s district offices in Rochester at 488 Adams St. and Cranberry Township at 8001 Rowan Road, Suite 205. All items will be donated to a local food bank.
Vogel, who co-chairs the legislative Hunger Caucus, is also the prime sponsor of a Senate resolution designating September 2025 as Hunger Action Month in Pennsylvania.
