Schedule for 4th of July celebrations in the Cranberry area
Mars will commemorate Fourth of July with a downtown festival from 2 to 6 p.m., as well as a parade at 5 p.m., which will be led by pets and bikes, followed by first responders and other participants.
Fireworks will take place at a new location behind St. John’s church this year. More information can be found on the borough’s website.
Zelienople will kick off Independence Day at 8 a.m. with the annual Firecracker 5K and 1-mile run at the Zelienople Community Park.
The run will be followed by free swimming at the Zelienople Community Pool, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The day’s activities, also at the park, will include live music, food trucks and basket raffles, concluding with fireworks later in the night.
A parade, organized by the Zelienople Rotary Club also will take place at 11 a.m. down Main Street.
