Cranberry EMS receives Gold award from American Heart Association

This month, Cranberry Emergency Medical Services received the Mission: Lifeline Gold EMS Award from the American Heart Association for demonstrating the highest standard of quality of care for heart attack and stroke patients.
This marks the 10th time in the past 11 years the department has received the Mission: Lifeline award.
Along with the Gold Award, Cranberry EMS received the Target: Heart Attack and Target Stroke award, which recognize the coordination of EMS agencies that transport heart attack and stroke patients to acute care facilities.
