Haine Elementary and Middle School will host a presentation by state police teaching parents how to avoid online predators on social platforms for children, such as Roblox.

The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. Oct. 21, and will focus on identifying common grooming tactics and warning signs that a child may be interacting unsafely with someone online.

Attendees will also learn how these social platforms work, how they appeal to children and how online predators attempt to exploit them to communicate with children.

Haine Elementary and Middle School is located at 1516 Haine School Road in Cranberry Township.
