State police welcomed 47 troopers to its ranks Tuesday, Aug. 25, including one coming to Troop D, Butler, in the 176th Cadet Class to graduate from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy.

Trooper Thomas R. Dzadovsky will report to the state police Butler barracks Aug. 31 after 27 weeks of training. Eleven of the 16 troops received at least one trooper. Troop F in Montoursville, Troop H in Harrisburg and Troop L in Reading received the most graduates.

State police’s latest hiring cycle is open until Sept. 30.
