A GoFundMe campaign created to support the wife and two sons of Cody Huffman has raised nearly $63,000 of its $110,000 goal as of 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Huffman, 38, of Harmony, died in a single-vehicle crash along Beacon Road in Penn Township on Saturday evening, July 25.

T.V. Garrett Griffin, 45, of Cranberry Township, also died from injuries suffered the crash.

Dixie Yakin, organizer of the GoFundMe for the Huffman family, described Huffman as a “beloved friend, husband, father, son, brother, and coach to many youth ballplayers,” with his death leaving many heartbroken.

“Cody was larger than life — always smiling, caring deeply for everyone around him, and actively involved in local youth baseball and football. He was an amazing friend to many, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh,” the GoFundMe description read.

“Cody’s warmth and generosity touched so many lives, and his absence is felt by all who knew him.”

More than 300 people have donated to the GoFundMe within a day of its creation.
