The Butler County Democratic Committee, the local branch of the Democratic Party, elected a new chairman and new precinct committeemen and committeewomen at its reorganization meeting Tuesday, June 9.

Donald Vigliotti, a Buffalo Township resident, was chosen as the new chairman.

Catherine Lalonde, the previous chair, decided to step down after eight years.

Other new committee members include Vice Chairwoman Carolyn Steglich, of Harrisville; Treasurer Tony Stagno, of Butler Township; Secretary Mike DeNee, of Saxonburg; and Parliamentarian Amy Beiler, of Penn Township.
