SV students shine at Butler Art Center exhibition

Seneca Valley Senior High School students recently showed off their creativity at the Butler Art Center’s regional high school art exhibition. Seven Seneca Valley students earned awards for their art pieces.

In 2D art, junior Sara Breeger won first place for her submission titled, “Smith and Evans.” Junior Elizabeth Semenenko won third with her submission, “Untitled.”

In ceramics, senior Charlotte Acosta won second place with “Humanity Overshadowed by Remarkably Superior Being” and senior Owen Johnson won third place with “Freeing Imagination into Dimension.”

In sculpture, senior Carly Byrom won third place with “Floor Dragon.”

Senior Madeline Zimmer and junior Julia Miller received honorable mentions.
