Pittsburgh woman accused of stealing more than $12K from Ulta Beauty faces new charges
A Pittsburgh woman who has reportedly stolen more than $12,000 in merchandise from Ulta Beauty since 2021 is accused of stealing from the company’s Cranberry Township location, police said.
Charnice Lamar Dent, 57, was charged May 15 by Cranberry Township police in two separate cases with felony retail theft and receiving stolen property following incidents on April 5 and Dec. 5.
Police said on April 5, Dent was seen entering the store and stealing $1,239 in fragrance merchandise. On Dec. 5, she entered the store and stole $1,412 in fragrance merchandise.
Police said Dent has five active warrants in Pennsylvania and Ohio and 27 prior retail theft convictions. Police said she is a suspect in alleged retail thefts at Ulta Beauty locations between Dec. 23, 2021, and April 5.
Dent’s preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
