On Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. a Star Wars- and Lego-themed experience is planned in Zelienople through an event at Bricks & Minifigs.

The event is set to feature retired sets, rare minifigures and a special build-a-minifigure station stocked with galactic-inspired parts.

Family activities include a townwide search and find — participants ages 12 and under will receive a Lego polybag once the activity is completed — and a costume contest.

The costume contest has two categories for entry: under 18 and over 18. Winners will receive Lego Star Wars sets — three prizes for under 18 and one prize for over 18.

Potential participants are expected to check in at the Bricks & Minifigs tent outside the store, located at 111 S. Main St.

Additionally, Munchin’ Moose will offer a free cookie to any kid who arrives in costume. Curio will host an out-of-this-world themed art activity. Room to Grow will have a drawing for an outer space toy basket.
