Allegheny Health Network to staff up for upcoming NFL Draft in Pittsburgh

Allegheny Health Network has announced its plans for providing health resources for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who are expected to enter the Pittsburgh area for the NFL draft between April 23 and 25.

Physicians and nurses from Allegheny General Hospital and AHN Prehospital Care Services will staff a medical fort near Acrisure Stadium, where the main draft stage will be located. The tent will provide immediate medical support to visitors when necessary.

An AHN Mobile Clinic will be stationed at Market Square, not far from the site of the NFL Draft Experience fan festival at Point State Park. The mobile clinic will be available to offer first aid and address minor health concerns.

Between April 22 and April 25, AHN Downtown Express Care at Penn Avenue Place will extend its operating hours and be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. to address common and nonurgent illnesses and injuries.

Throughout the event, AHN officials will be operating a command center at Nova Place in downtown Pittsburgh to manage patient flow.
