Karen B. McElhinny, 62, of Freedom, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Born April 24, 1963, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth G. Sr. and Janice (Patterson) Boben.

Karen was a member of Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, bingo and reading. She especially loved her dog, Baxter, and being with her family.

Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Joshua McElhinny; her sister, Kim Confer (Bruce); her brother, Kenneth Boben Jr. (Lisa); and her many nieces and nephews.

MCELHINNY — A memorial Mass for Karen B. McElhinny, who died Thursday, March 5, 2026, will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 13, at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
