With temperatures back up, Seneca Valley students got to cool down Friday, March 6, with the district’s sixth annual Polar Pop fundraiser event.

Seneca Valley’s unified bocce team hosted the fundraiser outside on the secondary campus behind the senior high school. Team members popped an ice-cold water balloon over participants’ heads in support of schoolwide inclusion and equality at Seneca Valley.

The Polar Pop directly contributes to the Pittsburgh Polar Plunge, an event that raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
