Adams Township approves vehicle purchases
During Adams Township’s supervisors meeting Monday, Feb. 23, a motion was passed to purchase a replacement truck for the public works department to replace an older model.
The newer truck, which is valued at $140,916 from the COSTARS Pennsylvania purchasing program, will be replacing a 1996 International truck.
The new truck will be used for the road department and will be outfitted with a plow. The price includes the outfitted package. The truck is a budgeted item for 2026.
The next regular board of supervisors meeting for Adams Township will be held at 7 p.m. on March 9.
