Seneca Valley girls basketball head coach Dorothea Epps was named the Class 6A Section 1 Co-Coach of the Year this week when the Big 56 all-section teams were released.

Epps led the Raiders to a second straight section title. Standout guards Natalie Hambly and Reece McFadden made the first team.

Butler boys’ Stainton Forbes made the Section 1-6A first team. Mars’ Alexis Cashdollar (girls 5A) and Austen Wroblewski (boys 5A) also made their respective section first teams.
