Three North Catholic pass-catchers — receivers Ryker Kennedy and Preston Simko and tight end Thomas Arth — signed with their respective college football programs on Wednesday.

Kennedy chose Bloomsburg, Simko changed his commitment to Duquesne and Arth picked Bucknell.

Kennedy, who notched 147 catches, 2,056 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns during his prep career, committed to Bloomsburg on Jan. 29. He also had offers from John Carroll, Mercyhurst and Seton Hill and took game day visits to California (Pa.), Indiana (Pa.) and Robert Morris.

Simko, a Fenelton resident, joined Chris Rizzo’s Trojans before last season, transferring in from Butler. He initially committed to play for Shawn Lutz at Slippery Rock University late last month before changing his mind and pledging to Duquesne.

Simko eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards as a senior, averaging 26.2 yards per grab.

Arth will play tight end at Bucknell, deciding to head there instead of Clarion, Edinboro, Gannon, Seton Hill and Slippery Rock.
