Cranberry opens registration for 2026 Do Not Knock list

Cranberry Township residents can sign up online for the 2026 Do Not Knock list to limit door-to-door solicitation.

Registration is valid for one year and residents who previously enrolled must reregister to extend protection through 2026.

A township ordinance requires solicitors to be licensed through the Cranberry Township Police Department and to display their license when approaching homes. While solicitation is legal, participation in the Do Not Knock registry allows residents to opt out of such visits.

Addresses on the list are compiled into a registry and provided to licensed solicitors, indicating those properties are not to be approached. Solicitors who ignore the registry may face license revocation and possible trespassing charges.
