Adams Township supervisors avoid conflict with Steelers game
Playoff football has caused at least one municipality in Butler County to alter its meeting schedule.
Adams Township has approved a resolution to move its supervisors meeting on Monday, Jan. 12, up an hour from its usual time of 7 p.m. to 6 p.m. The reason — the Pittsburgh Steelers’ wild-card playoff game against the Houston Texans is scheduled for that same night at 8 p.m.
All other township supervisors meetings will take place on the second and fourth Monday at 7 p.m., except for May and December, which have meetings only on the first Monday due to conflicts with holidays. The schedule was set during the township’s realignment meeting on Monday night.
