Kelly announces new chief of staff
U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly’s office appointed a new chief of staff Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Former deputy chief of staff and legislative director Quinn Ritchie was promoted to the position after former chief of staff Kevin Dawson left for a role in the private sector.
“Quinn brings proven leadership, strategic insight and a strong understanding of the issues that matter most to our constituents,” Kelly said in a news release. “I have the utmost confidence in Quinn’s ability to lead our team with integrity and drive, and I look forward to the great work we will accomplish together in the coming years.”
Ritchie began Capitol Hill career in 2021 as Kelly’s staff assistant and legislative correspondent. He was also a professional staff member when Kelly chaired the Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump.
Dawson had served as Kelly’s chief of staff since 2023 and spent five years as a legislative aid. He previously spent two years working for U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA).
