Cranberry Township will host its annual Menorah Lighting and Chanukah Celebration at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.

The event will begin on the Armstrong Great Lawn with the lighting of a 9-foot menorah, followed by the Chanukah gelt drop.

Members of the Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors are expected to participate in the menorah lighting, along with the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, which will assist with the gelt drop.

The celebration will then move indoors for traditional Chanukah treats, face painting, prizes, a photo booth and family-friendly activities.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged and can be done online at jewishcranberry.com/menorah.
