Myra Eastwood
On Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, Myra Kojundic Eastwood, 84, passed away peacefully in Cranberry Township.
Myra was one of four brothers and sisters born in Clairton, on a cul-de-sac populated by aunts and uncles. In college, she secured a spot on the women’s debate team at Penn State University, served as vice president of Kappa Delta, and spoke to the student body as a whole through the microphone of her college radio station. Myra graduated in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, and later completed a master’s in counseling at Kutztown University.
Myra and Bob were longtime residents of Emmaus, Pa., before relocating to Cranberry Township in their later years. Her love of learning and a strong sense of adventure served her well as a high school math teacher and substitute; as an entrepreneur who started a computer training consulting business; as an avid world traveler and a voracious reader; and as a loving, nurturing force of nature for two boys and, eventually, four grandchildren.
Myra is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Bob; sons, Brad (Ellen) and Justin (Alicia); four grandchildren; and brothers, Mike and Tony.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Ann Kojundic; and sister, Carolyn Poole.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you help us honor her life and love of learning with a donation to Emmaus Pennsylvania Public Library at https://emmauspl.org/support-epl.
