Butler County Emergency Dispatch reports indicate two people died in a two-vehicle head-on crash Friday morning in Forward Township.

Reports indicate an official reported two deaths in the crash, which was reported around 10:45 a.m. near the intersection of Evans City Road and Buhl Road in Forward Township.

Traffic in the area is stalled as state police investigate the incident.

The coroner when contacted at 11:45 a.m. indicated that he had not yet been called to the scene.

Evans City Road was still closed in both directions around 12:40 p.m., according to state police Troop D public information officer Trooper Bertha Cazy.
