The Rotary Club of Zelienople will host an appreciation picnic for local first responders and their families from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Zelienople Community Park.

First responders from Evans City, Callery, Zelienople, Harmony, Jackson and Lancaster townships, and the state police have been invited. Entertainment will be provided by the musical group, Sweet Judy’s, an all-female tribute to the music and spirit of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. There will also be children’s activities and cornhole games.

The public is invited to attend, with advance registration required by emailing zelienoplerotary@gmail.com. Admission is $10 for adults, while children under 12 are free.
