Zelienople woman celebrates 93rd birthday with a skydive

Sally Statzer Leasher jumped out of a plane to celebrate her 90th birthday, but wasn’t through performing death-defying stunts at that age.
On Sept. 1, she celebrated her 93rd birthday with another skydive with Skydive Pennsylvania in Grove City. The Zelienople resident doesn’t seem to want to rest, according to her son, John Statzer.
“No idea,” Statzer said of his mother’s penchant for extreme activities. “She's a daredevil-type person.”
