Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Aug. 22 — Valerian Alexander Dec, 49, of Butler, was charged with felony aggravated assault following an Aug. 21 incident. Police said Dec headbutted a police officer.
Aug. 21 — Kyle Thomas Gurganus, 20, of Bethel Park, was charged with four misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence and misdemeanor marijuana possession following a July 30 crash. Police said Gurganus had a THC vape and tested positive for THC.
Aug. 21 — Maurice D. Yurick, 59, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a July 16 crash. Police said Yurick showed signs of impairment.
Aug. 21 — Jeffrey Shaun Peoples Jr., 22, of New Castle, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 9 traffic stop. Police said Peoples had a BAC of 0.215%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Aug. 21 — Leila Rose Channaj, 21, of Mars, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 5 crash. Police said Channaj had a BAC of 0.083%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Aug. 21 — Aiden David Eubanks, 19, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession following a July 6 incident. Police said Eubanks had a marijuana blunt.
Aug. 21 — Matthew A. Leonard, 41, of Cranberry Township, was charged with seven misdemeanor counts of possession of an instrument of a crime and misdemeanor retail theft following incidents between June 8 and Aug. 9. Police said Leonard stole about $1,083.36 in merchandise from Walmart between those dates.
Aug. 22 — Anthony D. Retone-Savage, 24, of Mars, was charged with felony fleeing police following an Aug. 22 traffic stop. Police said Retone-Savage fled a traffic stop.
Aug. 19 — Glen Owen Katic, 61, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license following an Aug. 7 traffic stop. Police said Katic was driving on a suspended license.
Aug. 21 — Ashley Marie Gutshall, 40, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 5 incident in Summit Township. Police said Gutshall and another woman were in close proximity to a glass smoking pipe with burnt residue and neither claimed it.
