Xfinity continues expansion in Cranberry Township

Comcast has expanded its Xfinity network to more than 13,600 homes and businesses in Cranberry, Marshall, and Pine townships, according to a Wednesday news release.

The new service extends Xfinity’s footprint in Pittsburgh’s northern suburbs, adding to the 64 million homes and businesses already connected nationwide. According to the release, customers can now experience faster internet speeds, money-saving mobile plans and enhanced coverage for work, streaming and smart devices.

Cranberry Township manager Dan Santoro welcomed the expansion, noting the value of competition.

“Not only does it bring a new service to the township, but it also introduces healthy competition that benefits everyone,” he said. “When providers compete, consumers win with better prices, faster speeds and more choices.”

Residents can check availability at Xfinity.com or visit local Xfinity stores on McKnight Road in Pittsburgh or at Chippewa Town Center in Beaver Falls.
