A Butler City staple is opening a second location in southwestern Butler County.

Butler Donut Connection announced on Facebook it is almost ready to open the Cranberry Donut Connection on Aug. 25, 1656 Route 228 Suite 103 in Cranberry Township.

The business will offer a similar menu to its Butler location, from fresh donuts, to bagels, specialty pastries, cakes, coffee, tea and smoothies.

Cranberry Donut Connection will open to the public at 8 a.m. the morning of Aug. 25, then at 9 a.m., the Butler County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the business.

Both Donut Connection locations are owned by Nonprofit Development Corporation in Butler and will operate as nonprofits, allowing the organization to reinvest revenue back into the communities it serves.

For more information on the business, visit Cranberry Donut Connection’s Facebook page.
