Pennsylvania treasurer Stacy Garrity visited Butler County on Wednesday, July 9, when she gave about a hour presentation during the Manufacturer & Business Association’s Women in Leadership: Mix, Mingle and Mocha event at the RLA Learning and Conference Center in Cranberry Township.

Garrity spoke to a room full of mostly women business leaders from around the region, to discuss how she got to where she is today in her career, and fielded questions from the audience about how they can better themselves as professionals and how to better grow their businesses.

The Bradford County native was elected the 78th treasurer of Pennsylvania in 2020, and is a former businesswoman and retired U.S. Army Reserve Colonel.

Recently, Garrity has been recognized by the public as a potential candidate for the governor’s office which is up for election in 2026, and when asked about her plans to run for that office from the question portion of the event, Garrity said “discussions are being made and we should have an answer for that very soon.”
