Motorcycle rider, passenger injured in Lancaster Township crash
A man operating a motorcycle and his female passenger were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening, June 12, in Lancaster Township.
The operator was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital and his passenger was taken by ambulance to a Pittsburgh hospital following the crash, which was reported at 6:12 p.m., said Justin Hart, assistant chief of the Harmony Fire District. He said the injuries were significant.
The bike and a pickup truck were involved in the crash at the intersection of East Lancaster and Yellow Creek roads. The man driving the pickup was not injured, Hart said.
Harmony EMS and the Lancaster Township Police Department also responded to the crash.
