Car Cruise at ARMCO Park, June 7

Hosted by the YMCA, the car cruise will feature a 50/50, basket raffles and a DJ.

15th Annual Seven Fields Community Days Carnival, June 4-7

The festival will feature live entertainment, rides, games and food. Fireworks round out the event on Saturday.

Mars New Year, June 6-7

Mars New Year is a two-day community festival located in Mars, dedicated to celebrating the New Year on the red planet.

14th Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, June 13-15

The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is a premier annual event that attracts Jeep enthusiasts from all over the world. The festival is a Jeep-only event. All drivers must be at least 18 years of age. All Jeeps must be registered and have current liability insurance that is valid during the festival dates to participate in any festival activities.

The Jeep Invasion will take place in Downtown Butler on Friday, June 13, starting at 6 p.m.

The Bantam Quarry at Kildoo Trail Sessions, Bantam Boot Camp and the Babes of Bantam ride take place at 989 Kildoo Road, Portersville.

Mars Brew Fest, June 14

Enjoy music, food trucks, local restaurants and much more during Mars Brew Fest. Must be 21 or older.

Weavers of Harmony Fleece-to-Shawl demonstration & Harmony Fiber Festival, June 14

The Weavers of Harmony are sponsoring a Fleece-to-Shawl demonstration. Different teams will demonstrate their spinning and weaving skills. The event is free to the public. After the event, the finished shawls will be on display and available for sale by silent auction the Weaver’s Cabin.

Sheep shearing at noon and 1 p.m.

The Fiber Festival will be held in Historic Harmony, at the 1805 Historic Harmonist Sheep Barn, the Weavers' Cabin and Stewart Hall. Free parking will be available at the Steam Fitters Union, 230 Wise Road, Harmony, 16037, and there will be shuttle service available between the Barn, Weavers Cabin, Stewart Hall and parking.

Big Butler Parts A Rama, June 12-15

Cruise-a-Palooza, Butler, June 22

Join the Rodfathers of Butler for the biggest car cruise of the year. There will be DJs, dash plaques, food vendors and special entertainment.

Saxonburg Carnival, June 24-28

A community event for friends and families to gather for good food, great games and fun rides. Plus, the traditional Pet Parade is part of the week’s plans.

Admission:

There is no gate fee. Ride tickets are $20 per rider. There are about 12 rides available at Saxonburg Fireman’s Carnival. Rides include traditional merry-go-rounds and swings, as well as a wide variety of rides. Discount ride coupons are available from Saxonburg VFC office prior to carnival week.

Butler Area Community Day, July 2

Butler County Parks and Recreation and Butler Township are teaming to hold Butler Area Community Day beginning at 5 to 10 p.m. July 2.

This event will involve local food, live music by Right Turn Clyde and plenty of children’s activities. Children’s activities are provided at no charge and include bounce houses, balloons, face painting and children shows. A fireworks show will close the night.

Big Butler Fair, June 27-July 5

The event, billed as “the largest fair in Western Pennsylvania,” includes food, animals, concerts and rides.

$8 to $10, cash only at the gate

Entertainment includes carnival rides; craft and nonprofit vendors; live concerts; food and craft vendors; games; and more. The Community Chase 5K Run/Walk takes place on July 13.

Celebrate the Bloom, July 26

Enjoy a full day of activities during a visit to Jennings Environmental Education Center when the Blazing Star is in bloom. There will be guided walks, workshops and demonstrations, plus local food, vendors and entertainment.

Portersville Summer Steam Show, July 31-Aug. 3

This unique event showcases Butler County’s farming community with a variety of farming exhibits, tractor pulls and demonstrations. Attendees also can enjoy arts and crafts, carnival rides, food vendors and more.

North Washington Rodeo, Aug. 12-16

The event features world champion cowboys and cowgirls, food and merchandise.

Band Jam, Aug. 21-23

The Band Jam Grass Roots Music Festival is a weekend-long celebration of local music and artists. It features 20 bands and artists.
