Cranberry Township will host “Celebrate Cranberry” from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 16, on the Armstrong Great Lawn at the township’s municipal center, 2525 Rochester Road.

The event will feature family-friendly activities, including a Touch-A-Truck display, a photo booth, yard games and live music.

There also will be a book sale, a story walk of “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” and a craft session in the Mazzoni Reading Garden.

Guests also can tour the historic Sample School building and meet with local government representatives as part of Local Government Day.

Food will be available for purchase from Texas Backyard Barbecue and Mission Mahi. Free Dilly Bars will be provided by Dairy Queen and the Cranberry Township Community Chest, and Moe’s Southwest Grill will offer complimentary chips and queso.
