Mars students trade books for water balloons

Mars Area Middle School students had a refreshing break from classes Thursday morning, May 8, participating in the annual water balloon toss tournament.
The fifth annual toss was sponsored by the school’s student council. Seventh and eighth graders signed up to participate last week to break up into teams and pelt their friends with water balloons.
All proceeds will benefit future student council projects and events.
