Murder mystery dinner gets guests involved in the mystery.

Cranberry Elks will host a murder mystery dinner as a fundraising event Saturday, May 17.

The mystery centers on 1940 New York socialite Evelyn Welsh, who is hosting another one of her lavish dinner parties, before her prized “Hope Diamond” goes missing, and a butler turns up dead.

Doors open for the event at 6 p.m., and the dinner and story begin at 7 at the Cranberry Elks 2249 Banquet Hall, 20720 Route 19 in Cranberry Township. There is a subsequent scavenger hunt for the prized “Hope Diamond,” which will be hidden somewhere on the premises, as well as a cash bar and prizes for the best dressed and the guests who solve the mystery first.

Tickets are $60, and can be purchased at the Cranberry Elks 2249.
