Giant Eagle offering discount May 4 to help those affected by storm restock their refrigerators
To help residents restock following mass power outages earlier this week, local grocery chain Giant Eagle announced that it’s offering a discount on all purchases made Sunday, May 4.
All Butler, Allegheny, Beaver, Washington, Westmoreland, Greene and Indiana County Giant Eagle and Market District locations will be offering at 15% discount.
Shoppers will receive a coupon when they enter the store or at the checkout. Customers picking up curbside grocery orders or receiving home deliveries that day will automatically receive the discount.
Purchases not eligible for the discount include milk, alcohol, fuel, tobacco, cigarettes, gift cards, prescriptions, any other items prohibited by law and all third-party transactions including DoorDash, Uber Eats and Instacart.
