Middlesex Township opens park pavilion for rental
As of this week, Middlesex Township has opened up the pavilion at its community park, located on Browns Hill Road, to rental from the public.
The pavilion will be available for rent through Dec. 1, and events can run from noon to 8 p.m. For township residents, the rental rate is $250, and $100 will be refunded if the pavilion is clean after the event. For nonresidents, the rate is $300, with no refund.
During a supervisors meeting on Wednesday night, April 17, the township laid down rules for the rental of the park pavilion. Among others, the township will forbid operators or guests from driving or parking on the grass, posting or distributing advertisements, pouring beverages in glass containers, or bringing animals to the park.
In addition, inflatables and sidewalk art are not permitted at events held at the pavilion.
