Mary ‘Mary Lou’ Zupsic
Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Zupsic brought light, grace and an extraordinary sense of dedication to everyone she touched. At the age of 78, of Cranberry Township, Mary Lou passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, leaving behind a profound legacy of warmth, strength and deep devotion.
Born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 5, 1948, daughter of the late John and Mary (Brennan) Bredl, Mary Lou lived a life anchored in faith and love. She was a cherished member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish and St. Kilian Church, where her spiritual foundation guided her through a life well-lived. Professionally, she was a trailblazer — bringing sharp intelligence and care to her role as a broker and manager in the corporate office of Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate.
Yet, Mary Lou’s true masterpiece was her family. She shared a breathtaking, nearly 60-year love story with her devoted husband, Gerard “Jerry” Zupsic — a partnership defined by steadfast companionship and mutual adoration. As a mother, she poured her heart into raising Mark (Georgette) Zupsic, Daniel Zupsic and Beth (David) Zupsic. As a grandmother, her face lit up for Matthew, Emily and Adam Zupsic, who were the absolute pride and joy of her later years.
Mary Lou’s vibrant spirit also lives on through her dear siblings — John “Jack” (Jeanie) Bredl, Kathleen Worthing, Nancy (Robert) Newman and Barbara (Dale) Michel — as well as a large and loving circle of nieces, nephews and friends who were blessed to know her kindness.
While her physical presence will be missed beyond measure, the grace, elegance and boundless love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
